These are all meant to create the best possible result in the shortest possible time for each customer. If you’re looking for the long tail of options here, it’s the wrong place. If you’re looking for custom stuff, again wrong place. If you’re looking for a good affordable and fast way to get an online publishing presence so you can get on with the important parts of your business or cause, then welcome.
What do I get?
We get this one a lot. It’s how we’re used to thinking. You get an online web presence and lots of online tools which take the place of many offline tools. You also get a partner who will coach you, train you, manage your inbound marketing or all of the above.
Can you do a rush job?
No. Everytime we’ve done one in the past there are issues with expectations. We feel like we’re doing you a favor by pushing it to the front of the line. You push us and want more than you paid for. It happens. You will want to pay the same as everyone else so it will not create a fair situation. Plus we’re tired of rushing. All sites will be launched in a minimum of 30 days. We work best this way and if we work best you’ll get the best results.
Can we eliminate things from the Get in the Game package?
No. We find that you’ll eliminate them in the beginning which will bring the cost down. Then you will add them as we progress through the project. At first you don’t want video on your site. Then you see some cool video embed and now you want video. We have to go set up a Youtube account. But we already have things accounts. Great! We’re still going to help you brand them, optimize them and integrate them into your site. If you are asking if we’ll do that for free, then the answer is no.
Can we add, take away, do this or do that to the theme?
Probably not. The theme you pick with our guidance will have certain built in functions and certain design features. These are inherent to the theme and we won’t be plucking them out. Also, our package includes a customized header featuring your logo. Stock images or your feature images integrated into the theme. Changes the CSS to match your logo color scheme. Let’s be honest anything outside of this kind of modification to a theme is really probably more suited to a custom mock up and buildout. Of course now you’re talking about paying $3,ooo and up. Our designers love to do custom jobs. If you have that kind of budget, we’d love to introduce you and get you the desired result you need.
What if we don’t have a logo?
Please get one first. We’ve done two or three projects for those without a logo and it really slows things down and puts the focus in all the wrong places. If you need a referral, one of our designers may be happy to create a logo for there set fees or there are tons of places online where you can get one.
How do we handle the hosting and maintenance of the site?
We recommend page.ly as the best source for WordPress hosting because it includes automatic updates, daily backups and plugin upgrades. Tough to beat that for a low monthly cost.
Alternative number two is to use hostgator or bluehost to set up your own hosting. They have great support.
